Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog, Behind the Books. Here, you’ll get to know the “person behind the pen” – or to be more accurate, the “person behind the laptop keyboard.”

What exactly will I post here? To be honest, I’m figuring it out as I go. But here’s a sample of what you can expect:

• Short personal updates
• Behind-the-scenes looks into my writing process
• Sneak peeks of upcoming projects
• Articles about my favorite subjects (which are likely to be some of your favorites too: I’m talking about Disney, fairy tales, animals, and all of that fun stuff!)
• Zooey’s Corner (a special column in which I hand my keyboard over to Zooey, so he can share a cat’s-eye-view of my world… and yes, it’s just as arrogant and sarcastic as you would expect)

After each post, it’s YOUR turn to pitch in! I want to hear what you think, so be sure to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments. I’ll do my best to reply to each and every one of you – and as a bonus, I might even feature your comment in my next post.
